How do I make a 600 × 600 px photo?
Choose exact pixels and type 600 and 600. With “Keep aspect ratio” on, the photo fits inside 600 × 600; untick it to force the exact size (a non-square photo will then be stretched, so crop it square first).
Can I enlarge a small image?
Yes, but enlarging cannot add detail, so the result may look soft.
Is the original file changed?
No. A new file is created; your original stays as it is.
